COVID-19 Cases Rise To 505
Jamaica’s tally of COVID-19 cases has increased to 505.
The confirmed cases range in age from two to 87 years with the majority being female. 90 persons have so far recovered.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Andrew Holness has relaxed the daily curfew for the island.
From Wednesday, May 13, the curfew will start from 8pm to 5am each day, up to Sunday, May 24, 2020.
For the Labour Day period, the curfew will start from Sunday, May 24, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 am on Monday, May 25, 2020.
On Monday, May 25, 2020, the curfew hours are from 3:00 pm to 5:00 am on Tuesday, May 26, 2020
From Tuesday, May 26, the curfew hours are from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am next day up to 5:00 am on Sunday, May 31, 2020.
Schools will remain closed until September and our borders will remain closed until May 31.
