UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson Now In Intensive Care As Coronavirus Symptoms Worsen

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been transferred to an intensive care after his condition with coronavirus symptoms “worsened,” his office has revealed.

Mr Johnson, 55, was first taken to hospital in London on Sunday to have tests done and said he was in “good spirits.”

Earlier today, a No. 10 Downing  Street spokesperson said:

“Over the course of this afternoon, the condition of the Prime Minister has worsened and, on the advice of his medical team, he has been moved to the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital.”

Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab will temporarily assume the duties over the Prime Minister while he remains hospitalised.

Johnson is believed to be the first major governmental leader known to have contracted Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
