UK’s Prime Minster Tests Positive For Coronavirus
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has returned a positive test for the novel coronavirus and will now self-isolate.
He made the announcement via Twitter on Friday.
Via a tweet he said:
“Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus.
I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus.
Together we will beat this”.

The UK PM said he experienced “mild symptoms” of the COVID-19 disease and will continue to lead the UK government’s response to the crisis.
Globally at least 549,000 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed with at least 24,800 deaths linked to the disease.
To date, there has been one COVID-19 related death in Jamaica.
