Boyz Hammer Guyana 4-0

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz defeated Guyana 4-0 in their Group C encounter of the Concacaf Nations League (CNL) B at the Leonora Track and Field Stadium last evening.

The goals came courtesy of FC Cincinnati defender Alvas Powell and Turkey-based forward Dever Orgil.

Both players hit a brace with Powell scoring in minutes 14 and 36.

Orgill found the back of the net in the 44th and 54th minutes.

Jamaica currently sits atop the group with six points having scored 10 goals in two games. The Boyz defeated Antigua and Barbuda 6-0 on Friday.

Jamaica’s next opponent in their CNL campaign will be Aruba on October 12 at a venue to be announced.
