Bailey On Target In Season Opener
Leon Bailey has kicked off his 2019-20 Bundesliga campaign in grand fashion.
The Jamaican international scored the opener for his club Bayer Leverkusen in a 3-2 win against Paderborn on Saturday.
Bailey scored in the 10th minute from close range when he calmly redirected a cross from Kevin Volland into the back of the net.
And the in form 22-year-old continued to cause problems for the opposition throughout most of the encounter with his pace and quick thinking.
This is the second year in a row that Bailey has scored the first goal of the season for Bayer Leverkusen
Bailey shared his thoughts following the encounter:
"The better of a wild game" ?
