Jamaica Climbs Up FIFA Rankings, Regains Top Spot In CFU

Jamaica has climbed 5 places in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings for men.

The Reggae Boyz, now ranked 54th have regained the top spot in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU).

The previous CFU leaders Haiti are ranked 57th.

Only four CFU members are ranked in the FIFA top 100. They are Jamaica (54th), Haiti (57th), Curacao (84th) and Trinidad and Tobago (89th).

  

Mexico leads the CONCACAF federation with a rank of 16. The USA follows in 24th place, Costa Rica (26th) and Jamaica (54th).

Panama rounds off the top 5 highest ranked CONCACAF teams at 56.

The top 5 ranked teams globally are Germany (1), Brazil (2), Portugal (3), Argentina (4) and Belgium (5).
