Just In: South East St Mary MP, Dr Winston Green Dies

Member of Parliament for St Mary south east, Dr Winston Green has died.

No details have yet emerged regarding a possible cause of death but he reportedly died at home at approximately 4:00 am on Monday.

The People’s National Party said via an online post a short while ago:

“Good Morning Member of Parliament Winston Green has died. He was an extremely hard worker and amazing representative for the people of South East St. Mary. We wish condolences to his friends and family.”

Dr Green of the People’s National Party defeated Dr  Norman Dunn in the February 2016 General Elections by only five votes following the conclusion of a magisterial recount in March 2016.

There are unconfirmed reports that he fell and hit his head prior to his passing.
