Ishawna Under Fire For Social Media Remark: “Mi nuh dress inna tablecloth like Miss Lou”
“Mi nuh dress inna tablecloth like Miss Lou.”
This is the comment that has resulted in the raunchy female entertainer Ishawna being subjected to tremendous criticism.
On Saturday an image of the entertainer was posted on her Instagram page with the caption: “Mi nuh dress inna tablecloth like Miss Lou.”
The caption also included the hashtag “#RipMissLou”. And unsurprisingly, the public reaction to the post has been largely negative. Critics have come out in their numbers to express their outrage.

“You need a 1 year JIS free subscription to understand that what miss Lou wore wasn’t tablecloth but it was apart of our culture. #Chiefofdunce”

“Tablecloth? You mean the National folk costume for Jamaica? The kids pool at Pegasus from 1999 has more depth than your knowledge of Jamaican culture. You should research the fight for real equal rights in Jamaica ???”
Some persons were apparently not overly bothered by Ishawna’s comment:
“A lot of these people commenting probably not even rate Miss Lou work, but because they don’t like Ishawna they taking this as an opportunity to insult the girl, anger or not, these people should learn to conduct themselves better especially on this platform …..”
“Now all of a sudden , everyone so passionate about history !!! ????. Ya all have more pressing issues like the economy .”
“Maybe am not Jamaican/Jamaican enough bcuz this caption dont bother me for a second,we’re all entitled to our opinion”
“Meanwhile Audley Shaw have a phone bill of 8 million and ya all not mad ?”
