“Minister Samuda referred to me as a piece of…” Says MP Dayton Campbell in Stirring Social Media Post
Member of Parliament for North West St. Ann – Dr Dayton Campbell today (May 10) claimed that he was subjected to insulting language by government ministers via a stirring social media post.
Dr Campbell even states he was referred to as a “piece of sh*t” by ‘Minister Samuda’.
And his post has seemingly incensed many of his supporters who have already taken to social media to share their thoughts.
One person commented:
“What the hell!!!! You are a child of a king and a proud black youth that have excelled with your moral and integrity intact. They good piss off for all you care.”
And another:
“If they had catch him outside a Parliament yesterday they would limb up him clawt JLP furious.”
See Dr Campbell’s post below:
“I went to parliament with the evidence provided to me to speak on behalf of the people. To my utter dismay after finishing I was called all sorts of things by government ministers. Minister Samuda referred to me as a piece of sh*t and said as long as I live I should not make the mistake and call to him. Well sir me nuh beg friend and not because you a plantation owner and me a poor black country boy you are not better than I.
I have a duty to do and I will do it without fear or favour. I went to parliament to defend poor people not to look friend. It is true that I come from humble beginnings but sir I am very proud and I live life trying daily to assist others to break the chains of poverty like I did.
Thanks to Comrade PSM who stood by me in the midst of the vitriol and held me by the hand and walk with me to the exist. Respect galore mama.
Signed
Black and proud country boy”
