Man Burns to Death in St Ann Crash
A man reportedly burnt to death this morning (April 3), after his car slammed into a wall, and caught fire in Coconut Grove, Ocho Rios, St Ann.
His identity has not yet been made public but Head of the St Ann Police, Superintendent Gary Francis, says the accident occurred sometime after 2:00 am.
An alleged eyewitness stated that upon hearing the impact of the crash, he went to investigate, and saw a car on fire.
He says, another motorist stopped and tried to assist with a fire extinguisher, but his efforts proved futile as the fire spread quickly .
The crash victim was burned beyond recognition.
The blaze was eventually put out by the fire brigade.
