Family Devastated After 9-Yr-Old Dies From Fall in Bedroom
A family in St James is now devastated after the untimely death of a nine-year-old boy.
On Friday (March 3), Javaughn Henry reportedly died from a fall while jumping about on a bed.
Reports were that about 6:45 pm, the boy was at home with other family members, when he began jumping up on the bed.
A relative later discovered him on the floor with blood coming from his mouth and nostrils.
He is believed to have fallen off the bed while jumping about, and hit his head on the floor.
He was taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead
The family is reportedly overcome by shock, grief and disbelief that such an outcome could arise from what is typical child’s play.
