Elderly Business Woman Reportedly Chopped to Death in St Andrew
A St Andrew woman was on Friday afternoon reportedly hacked to death by a machete wielding man at her 47 Old Hope Road business place, Moncrieffe’s Patio Shop.
Her husband and two other individuals were also reportedly injured during the gruesome attack.
The deceased is 77-year-old Barbara Moncrieffe.
St Andrew Central Police say the attack took place at approximately 12:30 pm.
Sources from the location said the attacker is believed to be an employee of the organization.
Police have also revealed that the suspect, a man in his 30s, has since been apprehended and is now in custody.
