Reggae Boy Wes Morgan Hailed After Scoring ‘Most Important Goal of the Season’ For Leicester City
Reggae Boy Wes Morgan is being hailed for scoring what some persons are describing as the most important goal of the season for his club Leicester City.
Morgan who serves as captain for both Jamaica’s senior men’s football and the English club Leicester City recently scored a late header against Derby County to prevent Leicester from being eliminated from the annual FA Cup.
Leicester took the lead in the 7th minute courtesy of an own goal by Derby County’s Darren Bent but in the 20th minute Bent made up for his blunder by scoring via an expertly timed header to see the game leveled at 1-1.
Derby then took the lead in the 39th minute and maintained that lead until Jamaica’s Wes Morgan headed home in the 86th minute to salvage a point for his club.
