Marion Hall’s Gospel Album Being Considered For Grammy Nomination
Minister Marion Hall, formerly Lady Saw, could once again etch her name in the record books with her debut gospel album ‘When God Speaks’.
The album is currently being considered for nomination for the 2017 Grammy Awards.
Hall was regarded as the Queen of the Dancehall prior to becoming a clergywoman.
And the entertainer, despite ditching the moniker Lady Saw is still the only female dancehall artiste to ever win a Grammy Award.
During a recent interview with The Star, Hall shared her thoughts on the possibility of her album being shortlisted and ultimately securing the win.
“Just the fact that it is being considered to be nominated feels good. I had no idea that God was working in my favour like this,” she said.
“It would be wonderful to be nominated and to win another Grammy like that, but you know something, I’m a winner with Christ all the way. I’ve been winning since I gave my life to him. I’m the happiest that I’ve ever been, and I’m just loving the Lord. I see him doing so many things for me and he leaves me in awe every day,” she also stated.
