Usain Bolt has won his sixth IAAF Athlete of the Year Award.
On Friday (December 2), the 9-time Olympic Gold medallist was named at the IAAF Athletics Awards hosted at the Fairmont Hotel in Monaco.
Bolt previously won the coveted award for the years, 2008, 2009, and 2011 to 2013.
In August of this year, Bolt became the first person in history to win gold in the 100 metres, 200m and 4x100m at a third straight Olympic Games in Brazil.
Bolt received the accolade despite decent competition from Mo Farah and Wayde van Niekerk.
