Under-17 Reggae Boyz Suffer 4-0 Defeat to USA

Highlights

Jamaica’s Under-17 Reggae Boyz were outmatched by their counterparts from the United States during a mostly one-sided encounter at Winchester Park on Sunday.

The Americans won the game by scoring four goals and  keeping a clean sheet.

However the young Boyz were in a disadvantageous position for a large portion of the game as they played with one player short for close to 60 minutes.

The goal scorers for the United States were: George Acosta (6thminute), Andrew Carleton (46th, 53rd) and Bryan Reynolds Jnr (87th).

The Americans proved to be the fitter and more technically sound outfit.

And the young Boyz inflicted a severe wound on themselves after central defender Jamoi Topey received a second yellow card for a unnecessary tackle on Christopher Glaster, far from his goal in the 34th minute.
