Student Shot at High School in St Thomas
A male student was shot and injured at the Robert Lightbourne High School in Trinityville, St Thomas on Wednesday morning (November 2).
The student was reportedly involved in an altercation with a teacher at the school before leaving the premises and later returning with a gunman.
Following his return and subsequent confrontation with the teacher, who is reportedly a licensed firearm holder, the male student was shot in the leg.
The teenager was reportedly taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital where he was treated and released.
A week ago, a 14-year-old student of Jamaica College died from injuries he sustained after he was reportedly stabbed by a man on a bus for a cell phone.
