Dominic James’ Cause of Death Revealed
On Tuesday (September 20), a wave of sadness swept across the island after St George’s College Manning Cup captain, Dominic James collapsed in the opening minutes of a football game and later died.
The game was reportedly called off just before half time when the news of James’ death reached the venue.
An autopsy report now says the teenager died from heart failure.
Heart failure, often referred to as congestive heart failure, occurs when the heart is unable to pump sufficiently to maintain blood flow to meet the body’s needs.
James was only 18 years of age.
