Omar McLeod Reaches Men’s 110m Hurdles Final – Rio Games

Omar McLeod just moments ago qualified for the final of the men’s 110m hurdles at the Rio Olympic Games currently underway in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil,

McLeod clocked an impressive 13.15s to win his semi-final ahead of Pascal Martinot-Lagarde of France who crossed the finish line in 13.25s.

Devon Allen of the United States was third in 13.36s.

The two other Jamaican athletes – Andrew Riley and Deuce Carter who participated in the semis failed to qualify for the final.

  

Andrew Riley (13.46) was 4th in his heat behind Dimitri Bascou (13.23) of France, Milan Trajkovic (13.31) of Cyprus and Jeff Porter (13.45s) of the United States.

Deuce Carter (13.69) finished 6th in his semi-final run. Spain’s Orlando Ortega was first in 13.32s. Ronnie Ash (13.36) of the United States was second and Damian Czykier (13.50) of Poland was third.
