Jamaica’s Record Against South American Football Teams (VIDEO)

The continent of South America boasts some of the world’s greatest football nations.

Remarkably, three South American countries have won the FIFA Word Cup – namely: Brazil – Winners (1958, 1962,1970,1994,2002), Argentina – Winners (1978, 1986), and Uruguay – Winners (1930, 1950).

Additionally, Chile finished 3rd in 1962 and Paraguay, Colombia, and Peru have all reached the quarter-finals stage of the prestigious tournament.

Jamaica has faced all the countries named above at some point and our record against these and other quality teams in South America might surprise you.
