Jamaica Int’l Wes Morgan Shortlisted for Premier League Player of the Season award

Wes Morgan’s fairy tale year in football continues to get better each day.

The talented Reggae Boy recently captained the English club Leicester City to its first ever Premier League title.

Following that historic achievement, the burly central defender has been listed among a group of only 10 players who have been nominated to win the coveted Premier League Player of the Season award.

Just three weeks ago Morgan was named in the Professional Footballers’ Association English Premier League Team of the Year.

Shortly after that he was named in EA Sports’ FIFA 16 Ultimate Premier League Team of the Season.

The full list of nominees are: Riyad Mahrez, already named PFA Player of the Year, Jamie Vardy, N’Golo Kante, goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel,captain Wes Morgan,Dimitri Payet, Mesut Ozil of Arsenal, Harry Kane, PFA Young Player of the Year Dele Alli, and defender Toby Alderweireld.
