Couple Killed Just Moments After Leaving Their Place of Business
A lone gunman’s bullets has reportedly claimed the lives a St Andrew business couple.
Common-law spouses Helen McGoo and Gordon Davis were reportedly killed shortly after closing up their place of business in Half Way Tree.
According to Loop Jamaica, at approximately 7:45 pm on Monday shots rang out in the usually busy South Dale Plaza, off Constant Spring Road, in Half Way Tree, St Andrew.
In the aftermath, the car the two were about to travel in to their home in Hope Pastures, was reportedly peppered with bullet holes as both Davis and McGoo had been hit multiple times in the upper body area; the gunman had escaped.
In what was a mere few seconds after the close of business, McGoo, 50, and 60-year-old Davis were being rushed to hospital where they were later pronounced dead.
No motive has yet been established for the brutal killings.
