JLP Supporters to Pay Swearing-in Expenses
JLP supporters are funding a large portion of the expenses relating to the swearing of its leader Andrew Holness says General Secretary for The Jamaica Labour Party, Dr Horace Chang.
Mr Holness is scheduled to be sworn in as Prime Minister on Thursday.
According to Irie FM, Dr Chang stated that the Jamaica Labour Party is aware that these are difficult economic times and as such, money cannot be spent unnecessarily.
Dr Chang revealed that additional tents, additional refreshments are among the things to be covered by supporters of the party.
This is the second time Mr Holness will be sworn in as Prime Minister, as he previously served in that office from October 23, 2011 to January 5, 2012.
