Chris Gayle Makes Hefty Donation to Girl Suffering From Leukemia
Chris Gayle, the prolific Jamaican batsman who is considered one of the greatest big hitting legends in limited overs cricket has pledged to make a substantial monetary donation to a girl suffering from leukemia.
Gayle has recently been utilising the popular social platform Instagram to help accrue funds for Lee-Anna Walker, a fifth form student of St Hugh’s High School.
He shared this via his Instagram account:”Well, I actually get to meet Lee-Anna Walker not too long ago in Triple Century and I’m donating USD 20,000 towards her treatment”.

Lee-Anna currently requires a bone marrow transplant and the treatment will cost a hefty £35,000, the equivalent of roughly $6 million Jamaican dollars.
