Calabar, Edwin Allen Are Champs Winners Once Again

Calabar High and Edwin Allen have again come out on top at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys and Girls’ Championships.

With 287.50 points, Calabar won the boys’ title despite a good challenge from Kingston College (KC) and also earned the Mortimer Geddes trophy for the fifth consecutive time.

KC was not far behind, earning 250 points. Jamaica College was third with 227.50 points. Edwin Allen earned their third consecutive girls’ title with relative ease. The Clarendon based school amassed an impressive 329.50 points.

Hydel placed second in the girls standings with 263 points.Calabar’s star boy Christopher Taylor won the Boys’ Class Two 200 and 400 metres in record time and also helped Calabar  to establish a new mark in the Class Two 4×100 metres.
