Fighting For Life – Holy Trinity Footballer Battles Cancer
Jordan Foote, a Holy Trinity Manning Cup footballer who was diagnosed with bone cancer and has already had a leg amputated is now reportedly battling for life against the disease.
According to Sportsmax, Jordan’s coach at Holy Trinity High School, Devon Anderson says Foote is in a battle for his life after the cancer that ravaged his knee, is now doing a number on his lungs.
The coach also reportedly stated doctors at the University of the West Indies are seeing signs of improvement.
There was a hole in Foote’s lung that has begun to heal through medication and it is giving Anderson some hope but he is not happy with the deterioration he has seen in the player.
“They are trying to patch the part of the lungs that is leaking liquid, and draining off the water from his chest. He is deteriorating due to the cancer,” Anderson said, asking the public in Jamaica to keep him in their prayers.
“We just have to hope for the best but expect the worst, and know if the inevitable comes, it comes, but I hope it doesn’t come for now.”
