Truck Driver Seemingly Dies in His Sleep in Falmouth

An autopsy may reveal the actual cause of death of a truck driver who seemingly died in his sleep in Falmouth, Trelawny on Thursday.

According to reports, early in the morning, the delivery truck arrived at a store in Falmouth, but the establishment was not yet open.

The driver reportedly went into the back of the vehicle to take a nap, but failed to respond when he was later summoned by the sideman when the store was being opened.

Checks revealed that the driver had seemingly died in his sleep in the back of the vehicle.

  

Police investigators detected no sign of foul play, and it has since been theorised that the driver may have suffered a heart attack.

The police have listed the case as one of sudden death, pending the availability of a post-mortem report.
