England’s Most Expensive Football Player Puts J Capri’s Name On Sneakers
Following the recent untimely death of Dancehall singjay J Capri, numerous persons have utilized social media to offer their condolences.
As a tribute to J Capri, England’s most expensive football player – Raheem Sterling has inscribed the name of the late entertainer on a pair of sneakers.
According to the Star, the two were friends.
Sterling recently stated on Instagram:
“Today was for you it was my birthday n I was determined to score for you..such an Angel n a genuine friend. May God be with your family.”
Sterling scored a goal for Manchester City in their Champions League match against Mönchengladbach on Tuesday.
The game ended 4-2 in favour of Manchester City.
Born in Jamaica, Sterling moved to London at the age of seven and began his career at Queens Park Rangers before signing for Liverpool in 2010. In July 2015, following a lengthy dispute over a new contract, he was signed by Manchester City in a transfer potentially worth £49 million (US$76 million), the highest transfer for an English player.
