Gone Too Soon – Funeral Date Set For J Capri
A burial date has been set for J Capri, the talented Dancehall Singjay who recently died in hospital, two weeks after meeting in a motor vehicle accident.
A deeply saddened Kenneth Phillips, father of the 23-year-old entertainer reportedly stated:
“This was the only date that I could get or else she would have to be buried next year and I didn’t want to have her on ice so long, so I am going to put her down on Monday.”

There will also be a celebration of her life at an event this Saturday at Little Copa featuring selectors such as ZJ Smurf, ZJ Liquid ad Boom Boom. Rising dancehall artiste Jahmiel is also slated to perform at this event.
“We are going to celebrate her life, she was a fantastic person, a star gone too soon, but we are going to celebrate her short but incredible life, and all that she stood for. We are going to send her home with style,” Mr Phillips said.
