Doctors Expect J Capri to Make Full Recovery After Serious Motor Vehicle Accident
Dancehall artiste J Capri is expected to make a full recovery following a recent motor vehicle accident that forced doctors to put the entertainer in an induced coma.
According to The Star, doctors believe the singer is likely to recover fully without any permanent damage.
Kenneth Phillips, the entertainer’s father reportedly stated that his daughter is still in induced coma, but is in stable condition and is improving.
He noted that she is now breathing on her own and is not attached to any machines.
He also stated that based on these encouraging signs, the doctors at the University Hospital of the West Indies, where the singer is hospitalised, believe there is a strong possibility for full recovery.
“The doctors said the first two to three days were the most difficult, so she has past the worst,” Phillips said.
J Capri, 23, birthname Jordan Phillips, was hospitalised last week after her vehicle overturned. Reports said a car she was driving slammed into a wall in Barbican Square about 3 a.m. She was rushed to hospital following the collision.
