Man Mistaken For Homosexual Beaten Into Coma By Angry Mob
Asheen Walford, a well-known volunteer that works with the homeless in the corporate area was beaten into a coma after being mistaken for a homosexual.
According to Loop News, the 24-year-old was merely walking home when his life was nearly cut short after being the victim of a brutal attack.
Walford, while walking along Upper Waterloo Avenue, was caught in the middle of massive brawl between armed men and the homeless gays who have made the old Cholera cemetery their home.
Although the homosexuals claim the attack was unprovoked, a source has revealed that a man was robbed by cross-dressers in the area.
The man then reportedly returned with a group of armed men, who alighted from two vehicles in the vicinity of the Canadian Embassy.
Some of the homeless men were severely beaten, stabbed and even shot at.
Walford is currently in hospital in a serious but stable condition. He has a punctured lung ,severe brain swelling, and was given a very slim chance of surviving by doctors.
However, a close friend of Walford reportedly stated that he woke from his coma, and is speaking and eating as of Tuesday.
