Clan Carthy High School to Get Much Needed Furniture
A shortage of furniture reportedly forced the administration of Clan Carthy High School in Kingston to ask at least 600 students to remain at home for some school days.
Now it appears the furniture shortage problem has been resolved.
According to a report by NationWideNews, The Education Minister, Ronald Thwaites, said adequate furniture will be in place at Clan Carthy High School in St. Andrew by next Monday, to facilitate the full attendance of students.
Minister Thwaites yesterday met with representatives of the school’s board and management.
Coming out of the meeting, it was agreed that 120 desks and chairs are set to be delivered to the school this weekend.
