Well Done Team Jamaica!
Putting politics aside, I believe that we like to make suggestions when we are engulfed in excitable situations.
It is now an internet topic as to which stadium should be renamed in honour of two of our athletes.
These are two athletes who are still actively participating in the sport arena.
It is a must that we honour their legacy but now is not the time.
We have greater developmental issues to attend to presently and must not let the emotional umbrella cloud our judgement.
Politicians need to do what they were elected to do and refrain from burdening our country with fanfare and costs to further their own agenda.
I believe that we must wait until both have retired, along with many others like Veronica Campbell-Brown and Asafa Powell before we erect, rename or create anything in their honour.
Let’s make it a policy to induct our sports icons into a HALL OF FAME after their competitive tenure, showing our appreciation for their patriotism and contribution.
It is full time we stop allowing politicians to infuse our thoughts with the instruments of impulsive selfishness.
We sent a team to the world championship, not a few individuals. Speak well of all and reward all.
Let’s not make this a debate to no avail but be resolute in ensuring that the development of our athletes are consistent and of the highest standard.
Stand down politicians! Stand down corporate Jamaica!
If you both don’t contribute to our sports people and programs then be quiet!
Politicians, show some dignity in speech and actions so that we can stay united in our support for the athletes who have made us proud.
Thanks a million team jamaica, you all have sounded the drums of pride that beat in our hearts.

There is certanily nothing to wait on, there is no time like the right time which is now!
Trelwany stadium must be named after Usain Bolt and Usain Bdolt only, there must be some where in Kingston that can be named after our dear Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce.
Well said Oakley, it can all wait.
Well said Oakley. Let us indeed induct our greatest athletes into a hall of Fame instead. They all did well.
