Jamaica’s 4×100 Men, Women Make Final at World Championships!

Relay Teams on Fire

Jamaica’s 4×100 metres relay teams of both genders were scintillating in their respective heats at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing, China today.

Running in Heat 2, the the men’s 4x100m team made crisp baton exchanges and clocked an impressive season’s best of 37.41 seconds to comfortably win and secure a place the final.

In Heat 1, the USA’s 4x100m men’s team also comfortably qualified ahead of their competitors with a time of 37.91 seconds.

  


Jamaica’s women impressed in Heat 1 with a world leading time of 41.84 seconds to win their heat and a place in the final.

Great Britain finished second to the Jamaicans in 42.48 seconds.

In Heat 2 of the women’s 4x100m  the United States blazed to victory in a time of 42 seconds flat ahead of Trinidad and Tobago with 42.24 seconds.
