Bolt Strolls His Way Into 200m Final at World Championships
Jamaica’s ‘lightning man’ Usain Bolt strolled through his semifinal race in a time of 19.95 seconds today to book himself a spot in the final of the men’s 200m sprint at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing today.
Bolt looked to be in prime form.
Taking his foot off the gas pedal, the world’s fastest man comfortably won his semi-final race despite almost coming to a complete stop in the last 10 metres.
Nickel Ashmeade earned himself a spot in the final after finishing second in his heat with a time of 20.19 seconds.
America’s ace male sprinter Justin Gatlin also comfortably won his semi-final race with a time of 19.87 seconds.
