Jamaican Film Maker and Writer Nominated for 2 African Oscar Awards!

Because of this we always shine a spotlight on Jamaicans who are doing big things in their various fields and endeavours.
Film maker and writer Dianne Diaz is one such Jamaican. Dianne was recently nominated for 2 African Oscar awards to be held in Los Angeles, California.
The nominations were for Best Screen Play and People’s Choice, Best Screen Writer. Growing up in Jamaica, Dianne has always had a vivid imagination.
As a child she enjoyed drawing, painting and writing short stories.
Upon graduating from University, her passion for writing was reignited when she was introduced to the world of Nollywood.
Nollywood, is currently the third largest movie industry in the world. Dianne has managed to mostly dominate the Nollywood industry as a highly sought after screen writer.
She has worked with the likes of Nigerian top Directors, Frank Rajah Arase, (Beyonce: The President’s Daughter) and Robert Peters – 30 Days in Atlanta. Nollywood Actors: Van Vicker, Mercy Johnson, Joseph Benjamin just to name a few.
She has also worked with Hollywood actors such as Vivica Fox, Lynn Whitfield, Tangy Miller and many others.
The sky is the only limit for Dianne as she continues to work hard in trying to perfect her craft and evolve in this growing industry.
