Jamaican Int’l Footballer Scores Beautiful Hat-Trick Ensuring Promotion for Preston North End (Video)
Jamaican international striker Jermaine Beckford just scored a beautiful hat-trick in a Wembley playoff against Swindon to ensure promotion for his team Preston North End.
Preston will now re-enter the Championship having been absent since 2011.
Preston had previously lost nine play off attempts earning them the worst record of any club.
Beckford almost retired from football last year because of vertigo and a serious ear infection.
He is now the third player in history to score a hat-trick in a play off final at Wembley.
His first goal came just three minutes against Swindon, and his third before the hour mark.
