Tuffy Anderson Strike moves Waterhouse to 3rd in Premier League table
Pre-season favourites Waterhouse are now up to third on the table and just four points away from the leaders of the Red Stripe National Premier League.
This following their 1-0 win over relegation threatened Arnett Gardens in the final game of match day 10.
Top rated local striker Jermaine ‘Tuffy’ Anderson scored the lone goal of the contest in the 84th minute.
It moved his tally to 4 on the season and also saw him take over sole second position on the goal-scoring table behind Newton Sterling, Brian Brown, Dino Williams and Francois Swaby who have 5 each.
The Junior Francis coached team in the meantime now has 16 points, the same as Cavalier who dropped to 4th on goal difference.
Action on Sunday saw defending champions Harbour View brushing aside August Town 3-0 to join Montego Bay united at the top of the table on 20 points.
Mobay United who lead on goal difference played to a scoreless draw with Humble Lion.
In the other games Boy’s Town carved out a 1-0 win over bottom of the table Portmore United it was scoreless between Tivoli Gardens and Sporting Central FC while Cavalier were 1-0 winners over Rivoli United.
