Boston Marathon Bombings Suspect in Custody

A suspect is now in the custody of US law enforcement in connection with the bombings that took place at the Boston Marathon on Monday.
Federal marshals made the arrest today and the suspect is also set to be taken to a courthouse today. There have been three deaths as a result of the explosions including the loss of an 8-year-old boy.
The explosions happened approximately 10 seconds apart near the finish line, smearing streets with blood.
Law enforcement agencies have begged the public to produce photos, videos or any information that could lead to an arrest.
Investigators circulated information about the bombs, which involved pressure cookers packed with explosives, nails and other forms of shrapnel.
An individual close to the investigation told the Associated Press that the bombs consisted of explosives put in 1.6-gallon pressure cookers, one with shards of metal and ball bearings, the other with nails.
