25 Injured in Mammee Bay Crash

Twenty-five persons were fortunate to survive a motor vehicle accident relatively unscathed after the passenger bus in which they were traveling overturned in Mammee Bay, St Ann yesterday afternoon (September 26).

According to RJR, the accident reportedly occurred at approximately 2 pm when a public passenger bus exited the North South Highway.

The bus reportedly slammed into a guard rail and overturned.  

None of the passengers received life-threatening injuries. 

  

Earlier this month, some 23 persons were reportedly injured in another accident involving a bus in the parish of Clarendon.
