Three Persons Drown at Montego Bay Beach

Three persons were confirmed dead at the Cornwall Regional Hospital yesterday (May 29) after they reportedly drowned at a public beach in the Reading community, just outside Montego Bay.

According to a report by the Gleaner, the victims, all male were believed to be 13, 17 and 27 years old.

A source at the hospital stated that initially, one person, who appeared to be unconscious, was brought in.

Medical staffers later pronounced him dead.

  

Some time later, the source said two more bodies were brought in.

“We just hear seh dem drown down a Reading beach … nothing more … no name, no address, no family,” hospital personnel stated according to the report.
