Bolt makes Forbes 30 under 30 List
Jamaican sprint megastar Usain Bolt has had one of the best years of his career.
As accolades continues to pile up for the Jamaican sprint legend, Bolt can add one more to his name before the year ends.
This as Forbes Magazine has named the 6-foot-5 sprinter on its impressive 30 under 30 list.
Thanks to his impressive performance on the track, Bolt is earning us$ 9 million dollars annually in his contract with Puma, making him the highest paid track & field athlete in history.
The two time triple world record holder also earns millions from endorsement deals with global brands such as Nissan, Visa, Gatorade and his own line of headphones.
The six-time Olympic gold medallist has also been dubbed the “World’s Most Marketable Athlete” by the website SportsPromedia.com, which notes he “brings the promise of something historic with every appearance.”
His other accolades this year includes being named IAAF Male Athlete of The Year, the World’s Second Most Influential Man, as well as Nissan’s Director of Excitement, Showcase Special Edition GT-R.
Joining him on the Forbes 30 under 30 sports list are NBA stars Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Dwight Howard, tennis players Andy Murray and Caroline Wozniacki as well as NFL rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III.
Forbes, a well-respected United States business magazine, says the 30 under-30 list represents the “brightest stars under the age of 30 who characterize the “entrepreneurial, creative and intellectual best of their generation.
