Jamaica Drawn Against St. Vincent and the Grenadines in 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup Preliminaries
Jamaica has been drawn to face St. Vincent and the Grenadines in a home and away matchup for the preliminary round of the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup, as confirmed by the regional football governing body, Concacaf.
The two teams will compete for a spot in the group stages of the prestigious tournament.
Victory for Jamaica, currently ranked second in the Concacaf rankings, would secure their place in the group stages of the 2025 Gold Cup.
Concacaf also revealed that the preliminary round format will consist of home and away fixtures, with 14 teams vying for a chance to qualify. Seven nations will earn their place in the group stages.
The participating teams were ranked 1-14 based on Concacaf’s rankings, with the highest-ranked team paired against the lowest-ranked. Other notable matchups include top-ranked Costa Rica against Belize, Honduras facing Bermuda, and Guatemala meeting Guyana.
Additionally, Trinidad and Tobago will square off with Cuba, Martinique will face Suriname, and Nicaragua will play against Guadeloupe.
