Jamaican Youngster Dujuan Richards Scores Twice in Chelsea U-21 Victory
Jamaican footballer Dujuan ‘Whisper’ Richards stamped his mark on the pitch, securing two goals for Chelsea’s under-21 team in their resounding 4-0 victory over Aston Villa U-21.
The clash between Chelsea and Villa unfolded yesterday, with Richards wasting no time in making his presence felt.
The 19-year-old forward struck early, finding the back of the net in the 10th minute to open the scoring for Chelsea.
Undeterred by Villa’s attempts to level the playing field, Richards doubled Chelsea’s lead with his second goal of the match just 11 minutes later, in the 21st minute.
Not content with his impressive goal-scoring feat, Richards also played a pivotal role in setting up his teammate Deivid Washington, who capitalised on Richards’ assist in the 63rd minute to extend Chelsea’s lead further.
As the match drew to a close, Tyrique George sealed the victory for Chelsea with a goal in the 95th minute of stoppage time, securing a commanding 4-0 win for the Blues.
Richards’ outstanding performance against Aston Villa marks his third consecutive match in which he has found the back of the net for Chelsea U-21.
