Usain Bolt’s 2009 Performances Top Greatest World Championships Moments Countdown!

Usain Bolt’s historic performances at the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin have unsurprisingly topped a ranking of the Greatest World Championships Moments.

In celebration of the World Athletics Championships’ 40th anniversary, devoted fans from across the globe were invited to cast their votes for the most extraordinary moments spanning four decades of championship glory.

Out of thousands of enthusiastic participants, Bolt’s awe-inspiring record-breaking displays in Berlin captured the hearts of voters and secured the coveted top spot in this thrilling countdown.

Another Jamaican, namely Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce also made the list.

  

Her awe-inspiring triumph, becoming the first woman to conquer the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m at a single World Championships, landed her 4th in the rankings.

At the 2009 World Championships in Berlin, Usain Bolt clocked 19.19 to set the 200m world record.

He also clocked 9.58 to set the 100m world record.

No one has come close to breaking either record to this day!
