Jamaica Records 2 More COVID-19 Deaths

A 69-year-old male from St Ann and a 43-year-old female from St Thomas are the latest persons who have succumbed to COVID-19 in Jamaica.

Their deaths have increased the country’s toll to 315.

123 new cases have pushed the country’s case count to 13,760.

Of the new cases 72 are males and 51 are females, with ages ranging from 1 month to 93 years.

  

St. James recorded the highest number of cases with 34, followed by Kingston and St. Andrew with 21.

20 additional recoveries have also been recorded.

1,762 cases are active.

82 persons are currently hospitalised, with 4 patients moderately ill, and 6 patients critically ill.
