Recording artiste, songwriter and entrepreneur Ruffi is happy to be alive today following a recent heart attack scare.

Ruffi, who has garnered a tremendous fan-base in Jamaica and the United States with singles such as “Life” and “Survive” recently shared pictures of himself in a hospital robe via social media.

When contacted by The Jamaican Blogs™, the audibly shaken entertainer recalled his frightening ordeal. According to Ruffi, he had been experiencing chest pains for about four days but attributed the discomfort largely to gas.

He continued to ignore the pain until one morning he woke up drenched by cold sweat.

After the pain became unbearable, Ruffi reached out to his doctor who rushed him off the phone and urged him to call 911 immediately.

Following two days at the Florida Medical Center and after undergoing extensive tests, the entertainer said doctors concluded that he may have been experiencing a mild heart attack.

He has been given medication and is now at home recuperating but will need to keep in close contact with his cardiologist moving forward.

Ruffi says he’s thankful to the Creator for life and intends to crank out new hot singles once his health condition improves.
