Jamaican Man Attempts to Hide His Identity From Police in the US by Chewing Off His Fingerprints (Video)

A 20-year old Jamaican who has been living in the United States illegally attempted to conceal his identity following his arrest in Florida last Wednesday by trying to chew off his own fingerprints according to Nationwide 90FM .

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office, reported Roberts was driving a stolen 2015 Mercedes when he was stopped by police.

It was then discovered that he was using a fake ID, had a concealed firearm, and was in possession of three fraudulent credit cards.

After being detained in the back of the patrol vehicle, surveillance footage shows him attempting remove his own fingerprints by chewing them off and rubbing them against the cage.

His efforts to hide his true identity were futile however as a fingerprint scanner quickly identified Roberts and showed two felony warrants for his arrest out of Broward County for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Roberts has been charged with three counts of possession of a counterfeit credit card, grand theft auto, possession of a concealed firearm, possession of similitude of a driver’s license, driving while license suspended, and false identification given to law enforcement.
