Leon Bailey May Be Absent from Jamaica National Squad for Extended Duration

Reggae Boy Leon Bailey may be absent from the Jamaica National Squad for an extended period.

Reports suggest that the Aston Villa winger’s selection could be suspended until he submits a written declaration to the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) about his availability.

Additionally, the JFF board is reportedly reviewing aspects of Bailey’s recent controversial podcast interview to determine if he has breached his contract.

Bailey has requested time off from the national team and is consequently not participating in the prestigious Copa America currently taking place in the United States.

The Reggae Boyz squad is now in Las Vegas, preparing for their Copa America match against Ecuador tomorrow.
