Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz Kit Ranked Second Best at 2024 Copa America by ESPN
According to an ESPN ranking, Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz Adidas kit is the second-best jersey at the 2024 Copa America, which begins on June 20 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Atlanta.
The North American media giant noted, “The primary Jamaican kit doesn’t reach the same heights as its gorgeous secondary, but it does the job well enough.
There’s a subtle pattern on the main yellow panel, but in most pictures, it’s too hard to actually see it.”
However, ESPN heaped praises on Jamaica’s secondary kit, describing it as an “outstanding display of team colors and national identity presented in a visually distinct and interesting way that still looks like a kit.”
They added, “It is bound to have crossover appeal,” and declared it “the single best jersey in the entire tournament.”
Mexico’s Adidas kit was ranked as the top jersey at Copa America 2024, with Bolivia’s Marathon-designed kit in third place, followed by Peru (Adidas) and Brazil (Nike).
The Copa America runs from June 20 to July 14, kicking off with defending champions Argentina facing Canada in Atlanta.
The Reggae Boyz, drawn in Group B, will open their campaign against Mexico at NRG Stadium in Houston.
